Agitator began as the real-time documentation of street-bred novelists fighting to get it out the mud while cutting up about anime and developing a craft manifesto along the way. Somewhere down the line, the show became a freestyle writer’s room exercise for these two mystic juggalo weebs. Having cultivated a unique ethos and style, and with over a decade navigating as underdogs in the publishing industry, hosts J. David Osborne and Kelby Losack aim to use the Agitator platform to redistribute the knowledge, to give other working-class artists the tips and tools they need to overcome and thrive, and to unlock their inner Super Saiyan.
Part craft talk, part interview show, part avant-garde sound experiment, all love.
“A glorious mess of Japanese cinema, bro-down book chatter, hustle culture and the harsh noise of raising children… Agitator has become its own aesthetic.” – Iain Ryan
